OTR has now applied to the German Accreditation Authority (DAkkS) for accreditation in the field of expert reports and inspections of wind energy plants. This is a key milestone, with which the company wants to give yet another clear signal about its commitment to safety, quality and transparency.
The German Accreditation Body requires extensive documented proof of an applicant’s technical competence and management system before granting accreditation. Both of these criteria will now be reviewed in the next step by the independent experts from the DAkkS, both on-site at the company and during deployments at wind energy plants.

Overall, there are not many companies in the industry that take on the challenge of tackling the complex accreditation process.
OTR GmbH belongs to the IFE Group, and has applied for accreditation concurrently with IFE Ingenieurgesellschaft für Energieprojekte mbH & Co. KG. Both companies are already certified in compliance with EN ISO DIN 9001:2008.
